Working with us

What is PendragonPharmaTech?

A specialist pharmaceutical technology and consulting company. We help life-sciences organisations with laboratory systems, data, GxP and digital delivery, and we develop PxR, our review-by-exception platform for laboratory data.

Which organisations do you work with?

Mainly pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies — especially R&D, analytical and QC laboratories, manufacturing and regulated technology teams.

What services do you offer?

Strategic advisory; business analysis and requirements; laboratory and digital transformation (ELN, LIMS, CDS); GxP, CSV and validation; programme and delivery leadership; and specialist professionals. See Services.

How do you work with clients?

Through advisory engagements, defined statements of work, specialist placements and PxR pilots — scoped to what you need.

How does pricing work?

Consulting is offered on agreed day rates or as a fixed-scope statement of work. PxR starts with a free 2–3 week Ghost Pilot; commercial terms for wider use are agreed after the pilot.

Can you provide specialist professionals?

Yes — senior business analysts, project and programme managers, product owners, and laboratory and GxP specialists, on a project or interim basis.

About PxR

What is PxR?

A review-by-exception platform for GxP laboratory data. It reads chromatography, LIMS, ELN and audit-trail exports, flags potential data-integrity exceptions with fixed, documented rules, and records who decided what, when and why. See PxR.

Does PxR replace our CDS, LIMS or ELN?

No. It works from their exports and adds a review and investigation layer on top. Your systems of record stay as they are.

Which data and file formats does it accept?

Chromatography traces (AIA/ANDI .cdf and CSV), peak and results tables, audit trails and LIMS results (CSV, Excel, XML), vendor audit trails (Chromeleon, OpenLab, ChemStation, MassHunter), ELN audit trails and entry versions, AI-agent activity logs, GC-MS peak tables and spectroscopy reference data. Exports from Empower, Chromeleon, OpenLab and similar systems work through these standard formats; native vendor raw-data files are not read directly.

Is PxR validated?

No — PxR is an evaluation version and has not been validated for production GxP use. It includes a validation-ready pack (user requirements, traceability matrix, OQ test scripts and a supplier test-evidence report) designed to support customer-led validation for your intended use and deployment.

Can PxR review an audit trail on its own?

Yes. Bring a CDS, ELN, LIMS, instrument or AI-agent audit trail with no results file. PxR checks it against 16 documented audit-trail checks, shows which checks your source could support, and produces a review report with a sign-off block. Decisions follow the same controls as the rest of PxR: a reason is always required, only QA can close a finding, and nobody can clear a finding about their own actions.

Can I try PxR before a pilot?

Yes. A hosted evaluation copy with demonstration data is available for 2–3 weeks, with a 15-minute test script. Email contact@pendragonpharmatech.com for access. Please do not upload real or confidential data to it.

What happens to data in the hosted evaluation?

The hosted evaluation uses demonstration data. Anything you upload stays private to your browser session, is not used for any other purpose, and is deleted automatically after a period of inactivity. Please do not upload real, confidential, personal or GxP data. For a Ghost Pilot, how anonymised data is handled, returned and deleted is agreed with you in advance.

Does PxR use AI?

Detection does not. Every finding comes from a fixed, documented rule, and every decision is made by a person. An optional AI assistant can help an investigator understand the evidence in a single case: it reads only that case's evidence, never makes or records a decision, uses a configurable provider, and can be switched off entirely.

How does the Ghost Pilot work?

Over 2–3 weeks, PxR runs offline on anonymised historical exports you provide — no access to your live systems and no integration. Together we agree the dataset and the review task to be timed. You receive the findings with their supporting evidence, the checks performed and those your data could not support, the review time measured on the agreed task, and an ROI estimate with its assumptions stated. Where you can share known issues in the data, we also report what PxR found and missed. In return we ask for honest feedback and, if you are happy, a short case study. How the data is returned or deleted at the end is agreed with you beforehand.

Does PxR have electronic signatures and an audit trail?

Yes, in secure mode: individual accounts, role-limited signature meanings and signatures bound to the content signed, with a tamper-evident, hash-chained audit trail of PxR actions and an integrity check. Every decision needs a reason, and earlier decisions are kept.
